The appointments reflect EverGlade’s mission of connecting innovators with the right federal partners.

Mr. Richardson will serve as Chair for Voice of Membership on the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Preparedness Consortium (BioMaP-Consortium) Executive Steering Committee. Mrs. Grace will serve as a Small Business Representative on the Medical CBRN Defense Consortium (MCDC) Executive Committee. Both roles provide opportunities to bring industry experience and member priorities into dialogue with consortium leadership and government partners.

Strengthening the Voice of Membership at BioMaP

BioMaP supports the nation’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing preparedness, including domestic supply chain resilience and collaboration between industry and government. Mr. Richardson will focus on gathering member feedback to help inform consortium priorities and improve the value of participation.

“I appreciate the members’ confidence in me,” said Mr. Richardson. “BioMaP’s strength is in its members and the expertise they bring. My focus is to listen to their concerns, improve how they connect with leadership and the government, and make sure their perspectives help guide how BioMaP plans and moves forward. That’s how we strengthen the nation’s biomanufacturing preparedness and response.”

Representing Small Businesses at MCDC

MCDC brings together industry, academia, and government to advance medical countermeasures against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. Mrs. Grace will bring firsthand insight into the priorities and practical challenges of companies pursuing and executing MCDC-funded programs.

“Small businesses bring unique capabilities to medical countermeasure development,” said Mrs. Grace. “Working with companies pursuing and managing MCDC awards gives me a firsthand view of where dialogue between government and industry can be more productive. My priority is to bring that perspective into committee discussions and help keep promising programs moving forward.”

The appointments reflect EverGlade’s mission of connecting innovators with federal partners and supporting programs from pursuit through delivery.

“We are proud to have our leaders serve in these critical roles,” shared Giacomo Apadula, CEO. “Stephen and Laura will help shape consortium priorities, strengthen industry-government collaboration, and improve program outcomes for members and awardees.”
